ROCK FOR WALT, a benefit for the Rossmann Family

ROCK FOR WALT is a benefit compilation for the family of Walter Rossmann of Imprint Indie Printing, who passed away on September 10, 2020 following a 13-month battle with pancreatic cancer.

100% of all proceeds will be donated to the Rossmann family. Think of this as a GoFundMe with some tunes as a reward!

This benefit compilation was certainly not intended to be released in memory of Walt. In fact, when we began work on it in early July, we hoped to crank it out to give Walt a little morale boost; we wanted to put a big smile on his face as he began a new phase of treatment on his road to recovery.

Sadly, after putting up a massive fight for more than a year, Walt passed away on September 10, 2020, just before we were able to release this album. Even though Walt never got to crank these tunes, we hope everyone who does will enjoy it as much as he would have.

Bands on the comp are as follows: Less than Jake, Broadway Calls, The Bombpops, Toys that Kill, No Fraud, Last Great Hope, Jesse Pino, The Rifleman, CLassics of Love, Vicious Dreams, Government Issue, Danny & The Doorknobs, Twin Foxes, Petrified Max, Panic Problem, Know Your Saints, The Chinkees, East Arcadia, Leopard Print Taser, Killer Dreamer, Pale & Skinny, River City Rebels, Trotsky Icepick, Mike Watt, and Shayna Rain.

Download comes with full liner notes PDF.

THANK YOU: Vanessa Burt, Ian MacKaye, Kurtis A. Murray, Calimucho Screen Printing, Jacob Gallegos, Brenna Red, and Bob Martin, Brad Murray, and everyone else at Imprint Indie Printing. Extra special thanks to all the musicians and record labels who contributed and made this project possible!
